Brookhaven Women in Science (BWIS) is a diverse and inclusive community that promotes equal opportunity and advancement for all women in support of world-class science. We sponsor workshops, speaker series, scholarship and award ceremonies, and networking events. We contribute to the community by working with schools, community groups, and organizations to support education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and professional development. Our membership is diverse and people of all backgrounds are encouraged to join. Everyone is welcome!
